Shadowkeep Delay

Updated: Aug 4, 2019

As some of you might have heard already, the release date for Destiny 2: Shadowkeep has been delayed very slightly. It was decided by the folks over at Bungie that their new release could use some more time in the oven, since it'll be their first release as an independent studio and they'd obviously like to get it right straight away. The new date is now October 1st 2019. This also means some previous dates have shifted as well. This includes:

  • The World First for the new Raid "Garden of Salvation" will be on Saturday, October 5th. As was the case with Crown of Sorrows, the contest modifier will also be active during the first 24 hours of the raid's launch

  • Moments of Triumph has been extended through September 17th - this will give you some more time to grind out this year's challenges and unlock the in-game rewards as well as the Bungie Rewards

  • An additional Iron Banner will be held during the week of September 17th as well

  • Cross Save will start coming online later in the Summer, this should give ample time to sort out your Friend Lists before the launch of Shadowkeep

If anything else changes, you can expect another update on here soon! Cheers, Wulpul
