Last Wish: Raid Loadouts

📷

NOTICE!! This guide was Pre shadowkeep and as such the raid meta has shifted. I will update this guide when the meta becomes more clear again :)

However most primary and secondary gun suggestions should still be good.

So, Last wish has been out for about a year now, and as such most online raid guides are REALLY out of date. To help some people who are new to raids or don't know what to use,

here is a Loadout Guide to "The Last Wish".

KALLI THE CORRUPTED

The 1st Encounter of the raid features a little bit of ad clear in the form of taken thralls, a single Knight and the boss herself Kalli.

Primary Weapons:

- Hand cannons such as Midnight coup, Rose, Better Devils, and Service revolver.

- Pulse rifles such as Blast furnace, and if you aren't using an exotic heavy weapon then you could use Outbreak Perfected.

Secondary Weapons:

- Shotguns such as IKELOS SG, Badlander or Wishbringer (for the Knights and backup Kalli DPS)

- Recluse.

Heavy Weapons:

- Thunderlord (exotic)

- Swarm of the raven with spike grenades

- Wendigo GL3

- D.A.R.C.I

Be aware that Kalli moves around a bit during her DPS phase, so she might dodge some of your grenade shots if you aren't used to using a grenade launcher.

Supers and Exotic Armour

- Hunters: Bottom tree Golden Gun with Celestial Nighthawk

- Warlocks: Well of radiance with Lunafaction boots

- Titans: Top tree hammers With Hallowfire heart (It doesn't matter if you don't have it)

SHURO CHI THE CORRUPTED

Shuro chi is the second encounter of the raid and is heavily centered around ad clearing. With only a small amount of damage needed in each phase, as such, you won't use your Heavy weapon very often.

Primary Weapons:

- Hand cannons such as Midnight Coup, Better devils, Service revolver and Rose

- Pulse rifles such as Blast furnace or outbreak perfected (if you have a free exotic slot)

Secondary Weapons:

- Shotguns such as Lord of Wolves and IKELOS SG. They will be your DPS weapons for most of the encounter.

If you don't have either of these, then use a Badlander or Wishbringer and use your heavy weapon for DPS.

Heavy Weapons:

- Thunderlord (exotic)

- D.A.R.C.I (exotic) ( If you are confident you can hit headshots at close range)

- Any Decent Heavy weapon.

Do not use Grenade Launchers Or Rocket Launches as Shuro Chi is very close during her DPS phase and you don't want to die from the splash damage.

Supers and Exotic Armour

-Hunters: Bottom tree Tether with Orpheus rigs.

-Warlocks: Well of Radiance with Lunafaction boots

-Titans: Top tree Hammers and Hallowfire heart.

Only 2 Hunters need to run Tether so if you have an extra hunter or 2 have them run blade barrage with Shards of Galanor.

Only 1 or 2 Warlocks (depending on the number of orbs you are making), will need to run Well of Radiance so if you have other warlocks have them run Stormcaller for ad clearing.

MORGETH THE SPIRE-KEEPER

Morgeth's encounter is a mix of ad clear and boss DPS. This section is a little more general than the others and is likely going to repeat a lot of things.

Primary Weapons:

- Hand cannons such as Midnight coup, Better devils, Service revolver and Rose

- Pulse rifles such as Blast furnace or Outbreak Perfected (exotic)

Secondary Weapons:

-Shotguns such as Lord of Wolves or IKELOS SG (For Morgeth DPS)

-Recluse

Because you will be standing so close to Morgeth during DPS Lord of Wolves/IKELOS SG will be what you use for most of the damage phase.

Heavy Weapons:

- Thunderlord (exotic)

- D.A.R.C.I (exotic)

- Swarm of The Raven (With Spike grenades)

- Wendigo GL3

Be careful if you do use a grenade launcher as you are close to Morgeth during DPS.

Supers and Exotic Armour

-Hunters: Bottom tree Golden Gun with Celestial Nighthawk.

-Warlocks: Well of Radiance with Lunafaction boots

-Titans: Top tree Hammers (for Melting point) You do not need to use your super for DPS as you will do more DPS without it.

Only 1 Warlock needs to run Well of Radiance, so if you have an extra warlock get them to run Nova bomb, however, you shouldn't need to use Nova Bomb at all.

THE VAULT

The Vault encounter has no real "boss fight" at any point, and since most of this encounter is based around the puzzle, there is only really 1 or 2 weapons that you "need". So, instead of boring you by repeating what I have already said I'll list the 2 or 3 weapons that I think are needed and the Supers and Armour loadouts.

For The Knights

- Lord of wolves, IKELOS SG or another rapid frame shotgun such as Badlander and Wishbringer.

- Legend of Acrius or a decent grenade launcher (Don't stand too close)

For ads

- Whatever you used in the Shuro Chi encounter will be useful here too.

For the Supers and Armours segment, I'm going to split it into "Runners", the people doing the vault puzzle, and "defenders", the people clearing ads and killing the Knights. This is because the Runners will want to focus on speed, whereas defenders will want to focus on defending.

RUNNERS Supers and Exotic Armour:

-Hunters: Blade Barrage and Stomp-E55.

-Warlocks: Nova Bomb and Transversive steps.

-Titans: Fist of Havoc with Dunemarchers.

DEFENDERS Supers and Exotic Armour:

-Hunters: Bottom tree Golden Gun with Celestial Nighthawk.

-Warlocks: Nova Bomb with Skull of Dire Ahamkara.

-Titans: Top tree Hammers with Hallow Fire Heart.

RIVEN OF A THOUSAND VOICES

For this encounter, I am going to assume you are trying to cheese riven and 1 phase her as I have never done it the proper way before.

Primary Weapons:

- Hand cannons such as Midnight Coup or Rose.

- Pulse Rifles such as Blast Furnace or, if you have an exotic slot, Outbreak Perfected.

Secondary Weapons:

- Sniper Rifles such as Beloved or any sniper with Box Breathing.

Heavy Weapons:

- Grenade Launches such as Wendigo GL3, Prospector (exotic) and Swarm of the Raven with spike grenades

- D.A.R.C.I (exotic)

- A Rocket Launcher with Cluster bombs. Make sure it doesn't have a tracking module though because this may hit Riven's eyes and cause you to wipe. Bad omens and Cup-Bearer SA/2 are both decent if you have nothing else.

Supers and Exotic Armour

-Hunters: Bottom tree Golden Gun with Celestial nighthawk

-Warlocks: Well of Radiance with Lunafaction boots

-Titans: Top tree Hammers. No specific Exotic needed.

THE HEART RUN

The Heart run is the last encounter of the raid and doesn't have a boss fight; the entire encounter is based around moving fast and a vast amount of ad clearing.

Primary Weapons:

- Hand cannons such as Midnight Coup, Better Devils or Service Revolver

- Pulse Rifles such as Blast Furnace or Outbreak Perfected (exotic)

Secondary Weapons:

- Shotguns such as IKELOS SG, Badlander, Wishbringer, and Lord of Wolves.

- Recluse or other good SMG's.

Heavy Weapons:

- Machine Guns such as Hammerhead or Thunderlord (exotic).

For this encounter Heavy weapons don't matter as much, as long as you have an excellent secondary weapon you are good to go.

Supers and Exotic Armour

-Hunters: Bottom tree Tether with Orpheus rigs or Blade barrage with Shards of Galanor

-Warlocks: Nova Bomb with Skull of Dire Ahamkara or Stormcaller with Crown of Tempests

-Titans: Use any Super with any exotic.

For the heart run, I wouldn't recommend the movement-based exotics as other people will struggle to keep up so you will have to slow down anyway.

Other Notes

- Hand cannons: The hand cannons i recommended are only some of the hand cannons out there, Things like Austringer and the Duke Mk44 are still good hand cannons but in order to bore you less i haven't included every single good "ad clear" hand cannon

- Pulse rifles: Just like hand cannons there are many good pulse rifles ( Bygones, Chattering bone, Nightshade and Go figure) i just didn't want to write out every single pulse rifle and so only mentioned the one that i personally think is the best.

- Grenade launches: whilst i only specifically mention Swarm of the raven as a "spike grenade" gun, and 150 RPM grenade launcher with spike grenades is going to do a lot of DPS, i only mentioned Swarm as it is the current best

- Supers and Exotic Armour: When it comes to armour for raids, the only truly necessary ones are Celestial nighthawk (Hunter) and Lunafaction boots (Warlock). So if you don't have the others don't worry :)

- Top Tree Hammers: Used for melting point.

That is the end of my loadout guide. I hope it helped you out, even just a little bit.
